We are Derrick & Kayla, the owners of 'The Nourishing Nook LLC'. Kayla is the main face of the business and Derrick plays a major support role. 

We started reading ingredient labels when our son started having a reaction to red 40. As we became more aware of the toxic ingredients all throughout our home, we started making changes. Kayla was on a mission to replace many things in our home, from the food we ate to things like soaps, deodorants, cleaning supplies, medications, etc. She struggled to find all of her non-toxic needs in one place. After spending hundreds per month on subscriptions and ordering from many different websites, The Nourishing Nook was born.

The Nourishing Nook is based out of Southern IL, in the Mount Vernon area. We offer local deliveries as well as shipping in the U.S. through our online store. Our Main mission is to offer an assortment of products with clean ingredients for the whole family. We aim to build a community where we can grow together in learning about what nourishes our bodies. 

Preserving the beautiful world God made for us is an objective, we seek out Eco-Friendly products whenever possible without sacrificing the healthy ingredients.
